For some, 'otherness' is something that defined their life. A feeling of emotional and physical separation from the world. For many, this state of being is a crushing experience. But for a few, compromise isn't an option, as they step into the role they were destined to play, celebrating their uniqueness, and sharing their gifts with the world.

Concept

My Other Land is a collection of six stories about six people that each lived a life of alienation due to how they lived their lives. Not by choice, they were marginalized and isolated due to circumstance - and stigma. My Other Land traces the path that each person took, to transpose their life into happiness and productivity. What do they all have in common, and what can they share, that will inspire others, still living in the shadows of society.
